Return Policy for The Zippo Connection.com
The following return policy pertains to all items in our product categories:
Any product purchased from The Zippo Connection.com may be returned within 30 days from the invoice date (less shipping and handling costs). If your product becomes defective within the first 30 days after the invoice date, you may return it for a refund or replacement (please see below if needing repair of a Zippo product). All products are sold with a full manufacturer's warranty. After 30 days from the invoice date, returns and replacements must be handled directly between the customer and manufacturer. All items must be in "as-new" condition, in original packaging and with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories.
A RMA number must be issued before you can return any item. Please use our contact us form and include your name, order number, the product you are returning, reason for return, e-mail address and request for either a refund or replacement. The Zippo Connection.com will not accept any return without a RMA number.
Once a RMA number has been issued:
The RMA number is good for 14 days.
Product must be shipped through courier such as UPS, Federal Express, USPS, or any courier that issues a tracking number. ****PLEASE NOTE: ITEM MUST BE PUT IN RETAIL BOX AND THEN BOXED FOR RETURN TO THECONNECTIONS.COM WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. (ITEMS SHIPPED WITHOUT BEING BOXED PROPERLY WILL BE REFUSED BECAUSE IT IS RETURNED IN NON-RESALABLE CONDITION).
Customer must then contact us with a tracking number.
The item must be received within 15 days.
Zippo Lighters can be returned in unused resalable condition within 30 days from the invoice date. Any Zippo Lighter that has been filled with lighter fluid or is missing the orange warning sticker cannot be returned. All Zippo Lighters come with a Lifetime Guarantee. After a return is received:
The Zippo Connection.com will issue a full credit, less shipping costs, within 21 days of receiving the return.
The Zippo Connection.com retains the right to charge a 20% re-stocking fee.
The Zippo Connection.com will ship replacement item/s within 3 business days upon receipt of the return.
The Zippo Connection.com suggests that if you have not received credit, please contact us or check with your credit card company.
Shipping cost will only be refunded if The Zippo Connection.com made a mistake in shipping the product. If the product is being returned for replacement, additional shipping charges will apply. The Zippo Connection.com is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged returns during transit. The Zippo Connection.com suggests having the returned package insured.
